The 2025 OSG World Final online qualifier
July 1st - August 31st
We will be inviting the TOP 10 from each division to the 2025 OSG World Final.
Video submissions will STOP on August 31st.
You DO NOT need to weigh in during the videos.
You will choose your division in your profile. (For example: If you walk around at 242lbs / 110kg but compete at 231lbs / 105kg, you would choose 105kg as your division.)
Competition videos are NOT accepted. You must do the lift and film it as required.
Videos will be reviewed and invites sent in September.
The Events
5 REP MAX Log Clean & Press
Athletes will perform a log clean and press 5 times for maximum weight within 60 seconds.
Video Requirements:
Video must be one continuous shot.
Immediately before or after the press is performed, the weight must be confirmed on camera.
Option 1 - The camera must zoom in close to the weights on the bar to confirm the weight being lifted. This will require removing the weights individually to ensure the camera can confirm the weights.
Option 2 - The entire log, with weights on, may be weighed and the result shown on camera.
The log must be weighed on video to confirm weight.
Rules:
Each rep must be cleaned from the ground or pads below the knees.
For the lift to count, feet must be in line with each other, and head must be in line with the arms. Elbow, knees, and hips must be locked out and stable.
Log can be any size or type but must be a diameter between 10in/25cm - 13in/33cm.
All supportive gear is allowed.
Press, push press, push jerk, and split jerk are allowed.
Implement cannot touch your head at any point.
Your score is the weight of the log in LBS or KG.
5 Rep Max Deadlift
Athlete will perform a conventional deadlift with a barbell 5 times for maximum weight within 60 seconds.
Video Requirements:
Video must be one continuous shot.
Immediately before or after the deadlift is performed, the weight must be confirmed on camera.
Option 1 - The camera must zoom in close to the weights on the bar to confirm weight being lifted. This will require removing the weights individually to ensure the camera can confirm weights.
Option 2 - The entire bar, with weights on, may be weighed and the result shown on camera.
The barbell must be weighed on video to confirm weight.
Rules:
Barbell must be 20kg or 45lb. (Deadlift bars are allowed.)
Touch and go reps are NOT allowed. You will need to have a pause at the bottom of each rep.
Deadlift height must be from standard size weight plates and from the ground without pads.
For the lift to count, athlete must demonstrate full lockout with their hips and knees locked out, and their shoulders neutral.
All supportive gear is allowed. (Including deadlift suits)
Straps and chalk are allowed.
Dropping the bar from the top at lockout is NOT allowed. (You must have control on the way down. Your knees and hips must release before your hands.)
Sumo is NOT allowed. (Hands must be wider than knees)
Your score is the weight of a single deadlift in LBS or KG.
Farmer’s Walk for Max Weight
Athletes will pick up from the ground and carry a pair of Farmer’s Walk handles 20ft/6m for maximum weight within 60 seconds.
Video Requirements:
Video must be one continuous shot.
Immediately before or after the lift is performed, the farmer’s handle weight, height, and course distance must be confirmed on camera.
Option 1 - The camera must zoom in close to the weights on the farmer’s handle to confirm weight being lifted. This will require removing the weights individually to ensure the camera can confirm weights.
Option 2 - The entire farmer’s handle, with weights on, may be weighed and the result shown on camera.
The farmer’s handle must be weighed on video to confirm weight.
Rules:
Farmer’s handle height, measured from the ground or platform to the bottom of the handle, must not exceed 20in / 51cm.
Farmer’s handle height must be verified in the video.
No drops allowed.
20ft/6m distance must be verified in the video.
All supportive gear is permitted.
Straps, hooks, gloves, tack towels, and grip aids other than white chalk are not allowed.
Your score is the weight of a single farmer’s handle in LBS or KG.
How to submit your videos
Step 1:
Create an account or login to your existing account.
Note: There is a cost to the membership at www.OfficialStrongman.com.
Step 2:
Go to the Profile page in the top navigation.
Step 3:
Update your profile to include:
Age
Bodyweight
Country
Gender
NOTE: You won’t appear on the leaderboard without this information.
Steps 4 - 6:
Locate the EVENT section on the right.
For each event listed, click on the NOT ENTERED button.
A window will appear, choose your file and upload your video.
Type in the weight lifted in kilograms or pounds based on your account preferences.
Step 7:
Go to the Ranking page.
Confirm you show up on the rankings page.
Confirm your videos load correctly.
